Q: Who are we

A: teak23MacParts is an online store for quality precision Apple, PC laptop and other sensitive electronics repair tools — both affordable DIY repair tools and high quality professional grade tools, plus various other parts and accessories.

Based out of Portland, Oregon. Teak23MacParts (this website, blog and online store) are operated out of my home mainly by, myself, with occasional seasonal family help. We're a growing small business that belives in supporting local economies, buying American made products whenever possible (one reason why we're proud to offer a complete line of Professional repair tools) and greatly believe in the three "R's", Reduce, Reuse and most important (and most reelvant to our store) Recycle! We feel by providing users with repair tools, guides and parts to fix their own personal electronics many of these laptops and mobile devices will be kept in use longer and stay out of landfills! PLUS IT CAN BE FUN!

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept Paypal and all major credit cards. All transactions ar processed securely through Paypal's encrypted website even without an account or having to login!

Shipping Info:

Q: Where do you ship to? A: WE SHIP WORLD WIDE!

We ship to all US states and territories, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico (basic domestic shipping is via USPS First Class).

INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS: We ship anywhere in the world! Most locations we ship to using basic USPS First Class International, although Priority and Express options are available for an additional cost (and highly recommended for some countries) please see our Shipping Upgrades options in the products listings or side bar link. Because of unreliable post, customs delays and lost parcels, shipping to other international locations are required to use USPS Priority International shipping to their orders to protect us both by Paypal protections.

Although all international orders are given a tracking number, tracking for First Class parcels is only available for locations inside the US and sometimes not updated at all. USPS Priority and Express international shipping include tracking (USPS Express also includes insurance). The only service that has guaranteed delivery time is USPS Global Express Guaranteed [GXG], it's handled by FedEx 100% from our door to yours and has special expedited customs processing with guaranteed delivery in 1-3 days world wide. It's expensive, but when you need your parts or tools in a rush guaranteed, this is the service you want to use.

* Because of the high rate of lost parcels and slow post, it is highly recommended that USPS Express or Priority international (both have tracking and insurance) shipping is used for these locations: Spain, Italy, Greece and Russia. A minimum of USPS Priority is required for these locations, if Priority is not added to orders for these countries, orders will be cancelled.

The prices for GXG vary widely depending on location so if you'd like to add GXG shipping to your order just Send us an email with your country location and we'll be more than willing to send you a quote and add the price to your order or send you a customixed invoice.

Security/Personal Information:

Q: Do you collect or store any of my personal or payment information on the site?

A: No, we don't collect or store any of your Payment or personal information anywhere online. Paypal processes 100% of your payment on their site with very secure and encrypted servers so none of your info is at risk. Your name, shipping address, email address and the items in your order are stored in Paypal's transaction history (also on their secure servers) incase we need to contact you about your order. Shopping with us is as safe as shopping anywhere you use Paypal online. Your purchase is also protected by Paypal Buyer Protection, so you can shop with confidence knowing you're covered.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We accept returns for items up to 14 days after your order was delivered. No hassle returns for *defective items. Contact Us for details on how to submit returns. For replacement of items with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE, contact the manufacturer or send us an email for how to receive a replacement. *Defective items: items found to have defects in material or craftsmanship, items sustaining damage from **"Normal Use". **Normal Use: using the tool or part for what it was designed or intended for (including forcing a screwdriver in an attempt to remove an incorrectly sized or shaped fastener, Ex: attepting to remove a pentalobe screw with a Torx bit). Ex.1: using a screwdriver to remove a screw ("Normal Use") Ex.2: using a screwdriver as a pry tool (NOT "Normal Use")
